Rosebery Neighbourhood House
Who we are
At Rosebery Neighbourhood House, we are proud to be a welcoming, not-for-profit community hub dedicated to supporting and connecting the people of Rosebery and surrounding areas. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where individuals and families can access essential services, find support, and build strong community connections.
Our mission is to strengthen and support our community through practical assistance, inclusive programs, and opportunities for connection. Guided by compassion and respect, we work towards:
Supporting Local People and Families: We provide vital services such as our Community Pantry, free fresh vegetables, food hampers, hygiene facilities, emergency relief, and Centrelink, Medicare, and NILS assistance. We’re here to lend a helping hand when it’s needed most.
Relieving Hardship and Distress: We offer programs and services that make daily life easier, from technology support and employment assistance to visiting health and wellbeing services, ensuring no one feels left without support.
Encouraging Community Participation: Through community lunches, market days, movie nights, and special events, we provide opportunities for people to connect, share experiences, and strengthen community spirit.
Building Skills and Connections: Our volunteer program and community garden give people the chance to learn new skills, meet new friends, and contribute to a thriving, resilient community.
